Description

The Australian Socket Tester (Type I) is used to verify that your electrical outlet is earthed correctly before using your Earthing™ products. The tester is designed for 240V, 50Hz use only. The Socket Tester is also useful for testing your powerboards are in good working condition and earthed.

Simply plug the tester into the power outlet you will be using with your Earthing™ product, turn on the power and 3 orange lights will confirm that your outlet is wired correctly. If the 3 orange lights do not display, your outlet could be faulty and you should seek the advice of a licenced Electrician. If you want to use your Earthing Products while waiting for verification you will need to use the Ground Rod.
