Description

The Earthing™ Ground Rod with a 12-metre cord offers a direct connection to the Earth’s natural energy when a grounded power outlet is not available. Simply place the rod into moist soil outdoors, then run the attached cord through a window or under a door to connect your Earthing™ product indoors.

This setup provides an effective alternative to grounding through a wall outlet and is ideal for use in regions without modern electrical grounding systems. It is also a practical solution for outdoor sleeping arrangements such as camping, caravanning, or off-grid living.

The Ground Rod is compatible with all Earthing™ products.

Please note: To complete your setup, you will need a product connection cord to attach your Earthing™ product to the end of the ground rod cord. Most products include this cord unless specifically ordered without one. Additional cords are available under the Accessories tab.

If you plan to connect more than one product to the Ground Rod or wish to use a Product Tester with it, you will also need a Splitter. This allows for multiple connections from a single grounding point.

The Earthing™ Ground Rod is a simple tool that connects you directly to the Earth’s natural energy when a grounded wall outlet isn’t available. Here’s how it works:


A 30 cm (or similar length) stainless steel rod is inserted into the soil outside your home—ideally into moist ground for the best conductivity.

A long grounding cord (typically around 12 metres) connects the rod to your Earthing™ product inside the house. The cord runs through a window, door, or similar opening.

Once connected, the Earthing™ product—such as a mat, band, or sheet—transfers the Earth's subtle electric charge to your body through skin contact. This connection can help reduce excess charge, support your body’s natural functions, and promote relaxation and balance.


The ground rod setup does not interact with your home’s electrical system. It simply provides a direct path to the Earth, similar to walking barefoot on natural ground.
