Earthing In Thailand!

Our Earthing Thailand Holiday

I love my Groundals (Earthing footwear) and have been wearing them since around October last year and they have gone many places over that time.  We recently went on a family vacation to Thailand and  I wore them every day and found them very comfortable and with the added bonus that I was Earthing myself quite a bit throughout the day while exploring, as unless you are on the beach it’s not a place you would take your shoes off often and walk barefoot.

So my groundals have walked with the tigers, rested on an elephant's back – this beautiful creature was actually grounding me, walked me through gold adorned temples and been my best buddy while exploring caves and beaches.  I have loved wearing them all day and into the nights as Thailand is so hot it’s very hard to even think of putting any sort of cover up foot wear on – but most of all they have been comfortable!  We had plenty of full on days trying to experience and see everything we could in a short space of time and I am sure this regular connection to the Earth kept me going strong all day and night without fatigue and soreness.  If I had been wearing joggers I would have received no Earthing benefits at all even though I was outside making contact with the Earth most of the day!

One thing to remember is that the sole of the groundal is not 100% rubber and will therefore not be as durable as a pair of normal everyday rubber thongs or sandal footwear.  The rubber used has been altered to make it a conductive material and therefore may not wear as well as un-altered rubber type thongs and shoe soles. The Groundals do take a couple of weeks to wear in and mold to the shape of your foot.  Due to the upper strap being quite firm and supportive if you have a high arched foot they may not be suitable for you unfortunately.

Mine are just starting to show signs of wear on the sole now and will no doubt need to be replaced by the time summer is here again, however, it should be remembered that these are not just a thong they are a part of your wellbeing products the same as massages, therapies and supplements, etc., are so please keep that it mind.  This is very new innovative technology and we are privileged to have this type of footwear available to us and be able to receive the benefits of Earthing, while doing everyday things outdoors while still protecting the foot from the hazards of walking barefoot.

Every little bit of Earthing helps the body over time and my Groundals are very much now part of my everyday life as well as my family and friends.

Walk your way to better health, bare or not!

The Elephant is the one being Earthed and I am touching his skin with my Groundal so therefore I am Earthed as well!

Man made stone is used in all these ancient and modern temples so while sight seeing I am also Earthed and enjoying the benefits of grounding!

Groundals in Vietnam

Hi Linda, I've just returned from Vietnam with my groundals. Yes they were in deed comfy. Just one hiccup - the black does transfer onto the soles of the feet. Well mine does anyway, even more so when it gets wet which was a lot of time on the trip. Besides feeling comfy in them, I can't comment on feeling grounded as I don't know what that's supposed to feel like?! Cheers, Cynthia

Thanks Cynthia - sometimes when the groundals are new we have noticed a little bit of black coming from them onto the soles of the feet, however, this should decrease after a couple of wears.  You may not be aware of any feelings when being Earthed, some people feel a slight tingling,  however, your body is definately benefitting from the uptake of free electrons which has a huge antioxidant effect on the body.
